24 October – Other Times, Other Places

25 October – Graeme Stephen: Letters for Peace
Kick start your festival experience with a premiere of new work by this composer and guitarist.
26 October – Red Note Ensemble with Garth Knox
See Garth Knox perform in his hometown, as he premieres his new work alongside Scotland’s foremost new music ensemble.
27 October – Reckless Sleepers: A String Section
We love a festival collaboration – catch DanceLive and sound in action together as this truly unique performance.
28 October – Do Whales Sing?
Have you ever thought about this? Get the whole family involved as you find out more about the underwater world of whales.
29 October – In Place: Stonehaven
“A song-cycle for vocalist and ensemble” we do like the sound of that! An un-plugged musical experience.
30 October – In Place: Portsoy
If you missed ‘In Place: Stonehaven’ make your way to the beautiful fishing village of Portsoy for the second instalment.
31 October – The Night With… Turning The Elements
Too spooked to spend Halloween alone? Join sound with an Aberdeen debut at BrewDog. Chill with a craft beer and enjoy new music.
1 November – Ensemble 2e2m
A sound first - with a world-renowned ensemble.
2 November – Late Night soundessions: Viola and Electronics
Three musicians get together to perform a programme of new music dedicated to works for viola and electronics.
3 November – Festival Closing Party
As we approach the end of the festival enjoy one big celebration featuring many of the festival artists.
4 November – Ian Watt and Paul Livingston
Close your 12 day festival experience with a beautifully crafted programme of guitar and voila.
