Five True North gigs to add to your bucket list
It’s one of Aberdeen’s largest festivals and the city’s most notable celebration of the singer songwriter tradition. True North returns to Aberdeen, Scotland, from 7-10 September with a line-up of some of the best gigs in town. Here’s just five to add your must-see gig list of 2017:
Start to End will headline True North with the band’s interpretation of Fleetwood Mac’s iconic Rumours album. This unmissable gig will also welcome a host of special guests and is set to be one of the festival’s greatest gigs!
Date: Saturday 9 September. Time: 7pm. Venue: His Majesty’s Theatre.
Known as ‘art-popologists’, Dutch Uncles take musical inspiration from some of the UK’s favourite stars. There will also be support from Indigo Velvet and a late night DJ set!
Date: Friday 8 September. Time: 9.30pm. Venue: The Lemon Tree.
Get that real festival feeling and party until the early hours at the True North after party. Pictisch Trail will be joined by a number of guest DJ’s to keep you on your feet all night long!

Sending True North 2017 out in style, Scott Hutchison (Frightened Rabbit) and Kathryn Joseph (Scottish Album of the Year winner) come together to collaborate on this final headline concert.
Date: Sunday 10 September. Time: 7pm. Venue: Tivoli Theatre.
This is the music of the future, taught through lessons of the past. A full interactive experience watch as Public Service Broadcasting weave samples of old films with music!
