Eye-catching visual arts coming soon…
If you know us then by now you will know how much we love our festival programme launches! We’re giving you the latest scoop on our most recent festival launch… Visual arts festival, Look Again, has just launched its brand new festival programme taking place from 14-17 June 2018.
One that really caught our eye was ‘Super Aberdeen’ (we’re pretty sure it will catch yours too when you see it). The contemporary design artworks will celebrate many different parts of the city. You will recognise Super Aberdeen with its playful colours and distinctive typography.

Of course with the theme celebrating our young people we know the little ones (and us too) will be extra excited about the playable artworks! Find the Wee Rig outside Marischal College, just look out an oil rig! Nearby Big Box is one to play too – move around the colourful interactive pieces of the artwork to create new images, play games (there’s even an impression board so you can create people shapes!).
And for you foodie fans don’t miss the exclusive festival special ice-cream (gingerbread flavour – yum!) from Mackies to celebrate James Rigler’s House in the Woods in Marischal College Quad – here you will find an enchanting pavilion…
Oh and if you end up looking again at a man performing as he walks the central streets of Aberdeen, that’s David Sherry the festival’s very own moving artwork.
