From 9-17 September 2017 local artists and makers will yet again open their studios to the public. For nine days, as part of NEOS (North East Open Studios), festival attendees are invited to a unique opportunity to see creative juices flowing.

NEOS is the largest Open Studios event in Scotland and possibly the UK; over 230 artists exhibited in 2016.

This year, skills demonstrated cover many different art forms from painting, textiles and heritage crafts to digital art, jewellery, ceramics and photography. Be inspired by what you see and there may even be an opportunity to have a go and create your own personal work of art!

Entry is free to all venues, and many artists create their own ‘NEOS Trails’ – that way you won’t miss a thing!
