TechFest is Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire’s annual festival of science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Marking the festival’s 25th year in 2018, the Activity Weekend and Eureka Family Series provided a diverse opportunity for everyone to enjoy learning about STEM in a memorable, fun and engaging way.

True North is Aberdeen’s music festival, located at the heart of the city, the festival features the contemporary music industry’s most interesting, relevant and exciting artists.
Expect a series of unique headline performances that will take place in city centre venues across Aberdeen.
True North has grown in popularity becoming a key element of the growing cultural scene in Aberdeen since starting in 2015. Featuring past performances from Laura Mvula, Tom Odell, The Magic Numbers and Richard Hawley, the festival offers a vibrant and eclectic mix of artists celebrating the best of contemporary music.

The Twilight Sad
Widely revered as one of the best acts to emerge from Scotland in the last decade, The Twilight Sad will perform in Aberdeen for the first time in 6 years when they headline True North 2019 on Saturday 21 September.
Endorsed by Robert Smith of The Cure and acclaimed by fans and critics alike, The Twilight Sad are known for their loud and lively performances, notable for their impressive ‘sonic walls’ of sound and accompanied by singer James Graham’s distinctive vocals.
Support comes from acclaimed Scottish duo Aidan Moffat & RM Hubbert.
Tickets go on sale to APA Friends on Wednesday 1 May and open for general booking on Thursday 2 May at 9.30am.
